comments Abundant throughout the lagoon, from north to south. Collected from Sainte-Marie Bay and Nouville roadstead at Nouméa, around Signal Islet, in the Ile aux canards canal, the Maître Islet canal, around the Maître Islet, at Uitoé, Basse Ia, and Chesterfield Islands (Ref. 2352). This was originally reported from Lifou but has not been detected around Loyalty Islands since then (Ref. 2354).
